how many sites does this article cover

[edit]

It is not clear which one, or which ones, the article text talks about.

For instance, the lead claim "The English version has approximately 37,000 pages of content, second only to the Portuguese," is that about en.uncyclopedia.co or uncyclopedia.com?

CapnZapp (talk) 15:06, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Both 'co' and 'com' uncyclopedias are over 37,000 articles. So the line could be changed to say both versions are in a similar position on article count. --Gepid (talk) 23:32, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can I upload a somewhat bigger screenshot?

[edit]

I would like to overwrite the current screenshot with one in 640x360px. I find 320x159 to be a little bit destructive and hard to look at. Is it ok if I do that? AuroraANovaUma ^-^ (talk) 21:14, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the table for Uncyclomedia projects, there is an inaccuracy I would like to correct. UnGames is not a parody of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books, they are a parody of Wikipedia:Wikipedia games. Parting Shot (talk) 03:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@A1Cafel: Here's a reference: [1] Not all the games are like Choose-your-own-adventures, only the ones in the "Adventure Games" section. For example, [2]. Parting Shot (talk) 03:08, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A citation from the project itself is not something Wikipedia regards as a "reliable source." I would bet there is no reliable source; that no news article about Uncyclopedia has discussed it in such detail as to state what the basis is for individual subprojects. Reliable source or no, if the table is to remain in the article, it ought to be correct, and project participants are a trustworthy source. For my money, the text of the Subprojects section is a sufficient explanation; the table — like the basis of an individual joke — is an attempt to document lore of the project in Wikipedia.
